Directors’ Shareholding
Emerald Energy Plc (the “Company”) announces that on 7 October 2009 it issued, pursuant to the exercise of options under the terms of the Emerald Energy Plc Discretionary Share Option Scheme, 5,470,000 ordinary shares of 10 pence each to certain employees and directors. On the same date, further 84,037 ordinary shares were issued to certain employees of the Company under the terms of the Emerald Energy Plc Business Unit Senior Management Incentive Scheme.
