Emerald Energy Plc (the “Company”) received notification on 10 March 2008 from Barclays PLC that, as at 07 March 2008, it no longer held reportable voting rights in ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company.

The total number of current voting rights in the Company is 59,592,994.
