Holdings in Company

Following the issue of 3,500,000 ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company (“Ordinary Shares”), to Soyuzneftegas Limited on 1 May 2007 under the SNG Acquisition Agreement, the Company received notification on 2 May 2007 from Soyuzneftegas Limited, that as of 1 May 2007, it held 5,000,000 Ordinary Shares representing approximately 8.39 per cent. of the issued ordinary share capital.

The total number of current voting rights in the Company is 59,592,994
