Appointment of Chief Executive Officer

Emerald Energy Plc (“Emerald” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Angus MacAskill as Chief Executive Officer. Alastair Beardsall remains as Chairman and Executive Director on a part-time basis. These changes will take place with immediate effect.

Emeralds’ Chairman, Alastair Beardsall, said:

Angus’s appointment will allow us to concentrate simultaneously on both the management of the existing portfolio and the next stage of growth”
