Emerald Energy Plc (the “Company”) has been advised by Artemis Investment Management Limited that it, and certain of its subsidiary companies, hold an aggregate interest in 1,712,142 ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company (“Ordinary Shares”), representing approximately 3.05 per cent. of the Company's issued ordinary share capital. The beneficial owner of these shares is PGGM UK.
