Holdings in Company
Emerald Energy Plc (the "Company") received notification on 6 September 2006 from Barclays PLC, that as at 24 August 2006, it, through a number of legal entities, held 1,892,032 ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares"), representing approximately 3.37 per cent. of the Company's issued ordinary share capital.
