Issue of Shares Pursuant to Exercise of Options – 2005

Further to the Block Listing Interim Review announcement made on 5 September 2005, which related to the issue of ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company (“Ordinary Shares”) under the Emerald Energy 1999 Share Option Plan, up to and including that date, and subsequent issues of Ordinary Shares that will be disclosed in the next Block Listing Interim Review, the Company wishes to disclose the following issues of Ordinary Shares made under the block listing:
